Split this from the game tracker, so we have 1 thread for sharing cool games on the Apple platforms. Today's Dope game of the day is Espgaluda II.
If you like some shumup / bullet hell game play, peep the demo / lite version of this game. Made by Cave, my newfound heroes, thanks to DeathSmiles. Espgaluda II is on 360 in region free format (if you import it), but I'd rather grab a local edition if it also makes it stateside for a printing.
Game plays very direct on iphone. Only con is the area of the screen you cannot see, thanks to your finger steering flight and attacks. Good time killer, and if you love it, $8.99 and it's yours (full version).
Square Enix has some games out and one of note is Chaos Rings. They also have a sale on their other titles, listed here. Chaos Rings is about 5+ hours worth of PS1-era RPG action. Turn based attacks and random encounters. Is it so wrong I am tempted to taste the powa of this game? $12.99 for this mini RPG action. Sadly, there is no demo to sample.
Chaos Rings apparently has a shitload of extra content. You can also do multiple playthrus with different characters. So Fancy.
Zombieville USA is a pretty simple but fun game. Side-scrolling Zombie bucking fun. Free demo available, as the full version is $1.99.

Find any new games? I tend to look more at productivity tools and such, but the games on the iPhone I tend to come back to are the word games / pool / cards.
I also play that Enigmo water game. That's nifty fun for a bit.
I bought Sim City when it was on sale for like 99c, but man it's just hard to play that game on an iphone... maybe iPhone 4 runs that shit better. In fact... (runs off to play)

I ended up grabbing Zombieville, Chaos Rings and Dark Void Zero. Dark Void is some old school platforming I got for .99, and the other 2 games are solid time slayers. Choas Rings is shockingly robust for a phone game, as it's very PS1 RPG action. Random battles are tolerable too.
/random. I see this guide to secure your jailbroken phone. I don't have a need to do so currently, but figure the info is well listed. For iTunes, you can tweak about it a bit and add some plugins.
