Friday it is, and with 4:45, comes my desire to leave the office. We have the 'Taste of' weekend that started @ 4pm, and a shit ton of cars have blocked our parking lot, and have been moved thanks the the foot soldier police.

 

Anyone has any fancy weekend plans? I know Kat wants to see the new Die Hard, and I am to be the DD. I would like to see the movie too, but since I got on-call duty this weekend, I smell an unlikely chance of not getting called during cinema climax. (not orgasm)

 

My Calendar shows a weekend of Game Catchup, Mowin the Grass, and laying low, with prayers of light calls. I might stagger into a late night of a FPS or 2, but I'm not binding myself to that one. :lol:

 

Woot, 4 minutes killed. Time to burn the next 11 like a pro. Btw, if you want a god laugh, peep the Destructoid Cooking Mama write up. (I was gonna respell on the god line, but it's pretty on point)

We just got back from Die Hard, and we loved it. Mind you the Hackanation was ridiculous, but that is the power of Movie Magic. :roflmayo:

Work is Ghost-Like Empty, as there are only 3 other people on the entire floor today. I'm reinstalling FFxI on my Laptop, while I tinker some projects I've been wanting to wrap up.

 

Any Plans for the Weekend? We were in Buffalo for the 4th, so I imagine we will be sticking around the house this weekend. I spent a good few hours last night in Final getting gear from my mules, and giving them pearls for our dothackers linkshell we got welcomed too, thanks to some chillin players who are in the WNY area, who remembered us from back in the previous days.

 

I'll prolly be on Xfire, and be hitting up various random tasks all weekend, so long as we don't have any field trips, short of going to the grocery store.

 

Here are my Handy Words of Insight:

'If you play an MMO, and decide to take a break from it, don't give away your gear' :lol:

I did that the first time we left, but I was like 50 or so, thus nothing super expensive left me, this time, I was 75, and most of my good gear is Rare/Ex anyways, but yeah, I kept my shit last time back in June of '06. :P

Luckily, most of the FF People I played with are still around, and some doods from the Igames Expo that came to our pad after-hours, might be able to get me in their HNMLS. If not, no stress, as I have the other half of my SH upgrade to pay Kat back for. ;p

I'm watchin Sci Fi and while on Wii news, I saw Ask.com will stop saving search and IP info, in respect to people's privacy requests. Hopefully more people will share in not cross-matching client data. The World could use more honest, non money fixated people. :bunny:

It's a technical Friday, as I'm MIA til Tuesday from the Office. Here in IT Land, we're running 2 deep, and the nice rainy weather is adding extra incentive for us to scoot out of here.

 

It looks like I'll kill my Sparks tonight, wake up @ an undisclosed time tomorrow, load up the car, and motor to Buffalo for some more gaming house adventures. Kat should be joining for the trek, after work on Sat.

 

Fri Smells like a Keggah, Sat will be the day after, Sunday and Monday look to be LAN Days. I might just take my Laptop, in sloth of lugging my Desktop, but that is subject to change.

 

So yeah, my Holiday looks of Booze and Video Games. Anyone have peachy-keen Weekend Plans?

Howdy from the work land. Today has been filled with feening to be playing some good games. I also changed the Topic name, from the 'How does the Weekend Look' name.

We got a Generator and Dyson Vacuum that I will investigate this weekend. Bless the Generator, as that's one less Item we'll need for the Zombie Apocalypse.

 

That's about it. Kat is heading out to a Groom Expo this weekend, and I will be forced to make mixed drinks, and play video Games, when not doing house stuff. Shank should be over sometime tomorrow for some Booze, Games, and a Trek to Video Game Monster. ;)
