Pic0o
Jolly Sat, we scored a 360 today, and I learned how bad both of us are, playing an FPS on a gamepad. :o Xer has my tag and it is Pic0o. Kat is rocking Kalira. We currently have Bioshock, Halo 3 (Forza 3 and Marvel Alliance came with console) and will have Assassin's Creed on Monday. Add us up, we'll nub some games. I'm gonna check some cheesy flicks, and take a break via some Super Mario Galaxy, prior to sucking more in Halo 3. Link to comment

Pic0o
Sweet man, it was worth my Harassment. It prolly even looks sick on your TV, as it looks sweet on ours, and we're just running 480p. We got a leaf blower too, our yard looks like a Tree War Zone. I should go test it out once I rock some bill paying. I added the 360 Gamertag Profile option here, that I just did on the + Site. Edited November 19, 2007 by Pic0o Gamertag Go! Link to comment

Xerxes
I just tried to play cod4 for my pc...my poor wsad hand cramped up Link to comment
Pic0o
Cool p5, I'll add you now. I am also playing with the Media Player ability to stream to a 360, without needing to do the Media Center Vista hop, so long as yer on XP. I just tried it from my Game rig, but it seems Shared Data does not relay to the 360, so I'm working the server for some Local Shares. This thing is super Craq. We were just talking about a 2nd console, so we can both play Halo, without the Dual-Screen of Doom. :P That will be a few months before that goes down though. ;) Link to comment

Xerxes
Pic0o, what are you looking to stream, .wmv and .mp3 are easy as pie with either media player 11 or windows media connect (which is no longer offered but can still be found to download) If you are looking at transcoding options then you need to go the media center route...or setup http://tversity.com/home or http://www.orb.com/orb/ Personally I love Media Center Extender but thats just me. I can help you out with most 360 stuff as Im a complete dork for the shit it can do. Link to comment
Pic0o
Sweet. I got the Mp3 Streaming working with next to no effort (WMP 11), excluding the need to have the 'HTTP SSL' Service running, that I had disabled on the server for some unknown reason. I added Videos to confirm the .Avi is not that easy. The only reason I did not setup Media Center is sloth. I have a PC downstairs in the 1.4GHz Range or so that I could use to install stuff when I get motivated, but I'd have to jack some RAM from my Rig. I was just tinkering last night, and got happy when I could bump music from the server, while I play Halo. ;) Btw, does the 360 Support External USB Drives? I didn't get a chance to check last night. Xerxes
For audio and .wmv yes, for game saves, no. If you will be using specifically an ipod, you need to download something from the marketplace like 200k thing to add optional ipod support ;) Link to comment

Pic0o
Oh buddy, they seem to have some Confirmation in this NeoGAF Topic for DivX and XviD Support in the 'Fall Update'. Root Dumps via 1up. That's handy, and should save me Transcoding time. :bunny: Marketplace Spotlight looks nice too, so I can find the free stuff with the quickness. :) Link to comment
