Spring Break

As most folks are aware it's Spring Break. I found out because Kat has a ton of pets for board @ work, else I would have totally missed it. I guess that explains why I was solo in the Dept yesterday, and why we are down to 3 people today.

 

Besides that, I am babysitting a server I installed Windows 2003 Server on for Work, as I've wanted to consolidate some of the Windows 2000 machines for quite some time. After adding a 15 version higher BIOS to the older P4 Intel Mobo, it seems to enjoy maintaining boot in Win 2003. Now I embrace the backlog of critical updates, after installing a network version of Service Pack 2 for 2003. (Jinx, damn PC)

 

That's my day in I.T., when I get home, I'll probably finish watching last weekends Sci Fi movie and play some games, as that is what makes the weekend work. Our local weather of niceness has been squashed by rain, that looks to be with us all weekend. It's a damn good thing we worked on the Drains and Gutters in the back of the house, in hopes our yard stops turning into a swamp.

 

That's all I have really. 2 Hours until the drive home and my transition into PJ's and Recliner action. I'll try to stay awake past 10pm, but this damn cough has been draining me pretty bad.
