I gained some interest in Prototype via some screen shots and info posted around. I just watched the Video on Live and I'm extremely interested now.

 

From what I know so far, you play a serial killer gene spiced loon. I'll update w/ more infos later, meanwhile peep the video for this game, it's pretty rad.

I heard about this game many moons ago and thought it was axed...along with Alan Wake

Luckily this one looks to have made the cut. That Alan Wake on is WTF, since they did that cloak and dagger / cloverfield type marketing junk, as in lacking in any details. :o

This game looks better and better the more I see. Destrutoid has some Video of gameplay and I like it very much.

 

Official Game of June for me, I'll get RF:G after I pick this up. :notnice: FFS, they plug killing shit with Helicopter blades.

I didn't pick a copy up yet, but I figure I will by Friday, as loot is not flowing from the mountains. I did however, get an email from Activision with the following info to unlock Body Surfing:

Here're the instructions to unlock Alex Mercer's

devastating body surfing ability!

- Select 'Extras' from the Main Menu and go to 'Cheats'

- Enter: Right, Right, Left, Down, Up, Up, Up, Down

- You will get a message pop up if the code is entered correctly

 

This can be yours, without needing to be on the newsletter group. :)

I just got home from a sweet ride down the Canal a few hours, and scooped up my copy of Prototype on the way home. :bunny:

 

Gonna rock this out, as my Buddy says it's like GTA with super powers. That is some well off fun, I got some combo moves from the instruction book, then it's Surf Unlock and slayin time. :shank:

Got my disc on Drive and got the Hold Kick Surf on :). I also had dev and distro off. Radical Entertainment & Activision.

 

New Wolfenstein game looks mad nice and fun, certainly smells of MUST :zombie:

I'm going to take a break, as I am only shy 1 Combat upgrade - Hunter Dirtnap for 250000. :viking:

 

8 hours of play in and 1842695 EP earned, largely by :zzz: evasion. 9/31 Mission status.

I have also been enjoying Hammerfist and Whipfist Powers, with some Devastator kills :stab: this game is way too fun.

Like a nub, I have been working and doing some house work, thus cutting into my action the last day or two. I hope to remedy this tonight.

 

Also, here are the Devastator moves from the Manual. These are activated by using the below sequences while in Critical Mass (HP past Red bar):

Hold 'X' + 'Y' - Groundspike Graveyard Devastator

Hold 'Y' + B' - Tendril Barrage Devastator

In Air 'X' + 'Y' - Air Groundspike Graveyard Devastator

In Air 'Y' + 'B' - Air Tendril Barrage Devastator

Hold 'X' + 'B' - Critical Pain Devastator

In Air 'X' + 'B' - Air Critical Pain Devastator

 

It also took me a bit to pick up on the Flick Right-Stick while holding Left Trigger to change targets. This helps a ton when you are in a busy area, as the targeting system defaults to the biggest threat upon Left Trigger press.

 

Well, it's a technical Friday, so I should get some good time in this weekend. :yar:

I finished up Story Mode a little bit ago. The last few missions took a few replays, but I managed to GG it on Normal difficulty. :)

 

I also just maxed out my stats, so I feel accomplished on that front. :P Good Game, with some post-story replay in running around the city busting shit up. :viking:
