Twilight Book Summary

I'll start this off with saying that Kat and I did see the abomination of a movie that is 'Twilight'. Glittery vampires and mildly retarded girls = cast.

 

Kat was also scratching her head @ how lame and artsy the whole movie was. The budget actors and glitter didn't help either.

 

Anyways, Cracked has a nice rundown on the books. If this was out before the movie, I think some innocent (me) people could have been saved. :lol:

 

We like to think that he is afraid of this partly because he is afraid of hurting her with his super-strength, and partly because he is still freaked out about discovering that he is supposed to be heterosexual. "If I sleep with a woman, I'll have to go home and smash my piano," we imagine him thinking. "Will I still be able to drive a Volvo? What about me and Emmett's 'hiking trips'?"

 

In conclusion, if asked to watch Rent the movie or Twilight, pass on both and go read a book. Preferably not from either author. :P

Sadly I watched the movie, being told by friends how awesome it is and we should go see it (mostly girls) maybe because of the love story. I have no idea.

 

 

Half way through the movie I was thinking what the f, Vampires dont glitter, they dont eat animals, and they cant go outside during the day even when its "cloudy" and I was left wishing il'd stayed home and watched Blade like any true minded vampire fan would instead of this abomination which I was left poking out the wrongness of the vampire sub culture but being continuesly told I was wrong about.

 

Quite simply this movie shits on any pre good vampire movies, the vampire scene and has changed the look of them completely with this over popular love story leaving me never wanting to watch read anything to do with the series again.

Damn movie went with 'if you are eternal, you must be mad fuckin sad'. Since being able to convey emotion by acting was out of the question, they just went with glitter and pouty faces.

 

We can only hope another movie does not get spawned, but in reality, we can only know better to not see it. :fish:
