Games sales are the death of me

I keep buying games which causes a backlog....

 

Today I bought Wolfenstein, Dragon Age and Banjo Kazooie nuts + Bolts for 100 Cdn total...almost got Left 4 Dead 2 as well, but passed.

I have heard of this plauge you speak of. I too have a nice backlog that I keep feeding.

 

If you stumble on that alternate dimension where there is more time to play games, slip me a token :viking:

 

Watchin some Bond flicks before my likely load of Dragon Age. I am glad to have avoided a Gamestop or the like today, as that could have become fugly, for more games

 

We also considered a $300 PS3 with 3 games combo (instead of the DSi combo), but we refrained. I need a PS3 to add games for, like a hole in the head :o

 

Jan and Feb are going to be nasty as well. Mass Erect (effect) 2 will be a time sink for certain ;)

 

This weekend, I might finish up the last 2 L4D2 chapters, but I need not commit as that kills the flare.

 

Also, prolly gonna try to finish Castlevania OoE and it's mad serios end game levels. I support couch gaming and movies :ahoy:

I went to Target yesterday for the purpose of wasting yet more money on games I don't have time to play when... they were sold out of the ones I wanted. That was all fine and dandy, except they had 3 seasons of The Office for 12 bucks each. Lol so I grabbed those instead... amongst other things I should really stop buying there. That store will be the death of me. Lol.

We did some analog shopping today, and quickly retreated. There were several Police folk working the parking lot and just around the corner, we saw the most failure driving possible. SUVs in the other lane almost hitting us head on... in a parking lot.

 

People are batshit fuckin insane. We left without making a purchase, shit was insane and we didn't want to catch consumer rage. Speaking of such, some parenting challenged kids were running all over the place, as I met the first one when she ran into me. From there, the younger kid just started wandering off, and ditzy Mom failed to assert any sort of control but had the older kid swing and miss @ keeping a hold on the younger one. Younger kid fell on her ass too, I had no part of that spill.

 

This is why they make those elastic harnesses. Control your kids and try to keep them from running into people.

 

Oh yeah, we got our Xmas decor up outside, along with our tree. Yay to that being done, before admiral snowy insanity came to town.

I should get me some DS screen covers. They served me well on the DS Lite, I just don't wanna mail order the Hori ones, if I don't have to. Gonna pass on DS skins this round as I am a fan of the flat black. We went out in vein today to hunt a Dark Blue Mario Bundle DSi. Those shits must have been in short supply, or just sold epic fast. Here's hoping Amazon restocks sometime soon. :lol:

Looks like a nice roster. ;) I am likely to be playing some Borderlands around Xmas as I know someone who is getting a copy. ;) Today I'm Gonna use Kat's copy to PL a 2nd Char for me, before I part way with our 2nd disc.

 

I love when a plan comes together :blunt: If you want some levels, I'm prolly going to grind Kat's toon to 30, so I can get my hunter to 20 or so pretty easy, so I'm ready to play with PA Brogan.

 

Zelda DS is my last score before the Holiday. I'm glad my previous trade ins got us DA and paid all but $10 bucks on Zelda.

 

Speaking on DA, I equipped the Dragon Armor on Alister and he went from a meat bag, to super tank. I put him back in my party a few levels ago, and now he has earned his keep.

I watched a pretty rad SyFy flick last night, called Ice Spiders or some shit. Fucking stupid movie but source of many lols.

Hell yeah, that's the trademark of their movies. Serious horror or whatever is almost impossible.

 

Speaking on movies with idiots, I watched Left in Darkness. It had the main girl from Freddy vs Jason... I imagine this gives you an idea. Anyways, the amount of clueless she acts in the first half of the movie is almost unbearable. Granted, some of the stupid is hardly justified by the end of the movie, but still, Fail @ Survival 101.

So a friend asked for a list of games I own so they can borrow them....and I had NO idea I had as many as i do, whenever people asked I said 70 or so....the overall count of retail game (read: disc based) is 94....

Speaking of such, I don't remember if I have any DS games out, but I know a buddy is borrowing Star Ocean TLH. Visiting our pad is good for frugal folks. ;) Sadly, all our gamer friends live in Buffalo or further away, so we don't get as much borrow powa. :knight:

Star Ocean was pretty legit. I rented it from Blockbuster while waiting for Comcast and it was pretty fun. The sadly, the second disc was faulty and I didn't get to play past Disc 1.
