Pic0o
Man, I was told Chrono Trigger is good, but after having 2:30hr and Level 8 on my characters, I have decided this game is more on the Holy Fuckin Awesome scale of things. Controls are all classic, unless you want to use the touch screen for menus and such. Battle has a similar timer as FFVII, and you can use Tech Moves to combo attack foes or buff your party. I continued beyond the prologue Sunday and was instantly a fan of the play within. For example, I can get health back thanks to A Frog party member, who hits party members with his tongue . Combat may be avoided, so long as you can avoid running into the mob sprites. This beats the hell out of /random encounters. :bunny: So yeah. I got this for Kat awhile ago, then I gave it a go. Once you get your party to 3 heads and start getting into some battle, I think most would agree @ the smooth move that is Chrono Trigger. This is the new primary DS cart in my system. ;) Link to comment
Pic0o
I finished this up over the weekend and holy shit is this an awesome game. If you haven't played this game, you are missing out on a legendary RPG of awesome. Got my main team to about level 55 and kicked Lavos' ass, thanks to some side-questing to weaken his forms. Got my New Game + started a smidge so I am down for any prospective alt-gearing later. The Time mechanics in the game are also filled with excellence. Loved my visit. Had somewhere in the 40 hour range of play on my save near GG Time. Link to comment
Pea
I will have to get this game and give it a go. It sounds like something both hubby and I would enjoy. We are entertained with Pokemon for now, he's almost done with Black (I'm a bit behind in White) and then we've got HG and SS coming in the mail. But after that, I see some possibilities of Chrono Trigger in our futures! Link to comment
