Weekending

Another Friday afternoon is soon upon us. I'm installing some updates and transferring some data as I wind into the afternoon. I'm feeling some home adventure this weekend, as I was on tour for the last few weeks in Buffalo. :P

 

I may get around to setting the brakes back up on the flatland rides this weekend, as I see the rain forecast has gone away. I'm certainly going to dork out on some 3D Dot Game Heroes, as that shit is just too cool. Oh yeah, we have one of the smaller than a standard breed Poodles hanging out @ our place with us. He is a funny little puppy.

Oooo! I plan on doing some serious gaming this weekend. Have some required reading to do for that training class, but tomorrow morning my car is getting worked on so I will probably read then. It's getting new tires and an oil change and a balance and alignment and its breaks checked and and and... other such goodies. =)

 

It'll be purrin like a kitten.

 

I also have some cleaning and organizing around the apartment to do. But that'll be done a little each day so I can always feel like I accomplished something. Ha ha.

I mowed the yard, picked up the clippings, then fixed the ceiling tiles that fell in the basement yesterday. If you have a feeling the previous tenants managed to half ass the drop ceiling, along with everything else, go with your gut.

 

4-day Holiday weekend starts tomorrow. I look forward to playing some games and laxing it up.

That'd be nice, but I think all our friends are feeling just as lazy as me this weekend. I may be doing some Buff travel to chill for my buddies B-day, and to get some social gaming going down, before I be on the road next week.

I started up some True Blood Season 2, thanks to On-Demand. The shitty part of it, is that it's in SD.

 

I'm also getting ready to scrub 'Tages Protection' that came with The Witcher: Enhanced Edition. The 1.5 patch removed the CD check and said the DRM as well, but it obviously didn't purge the previous install. Overcast day today makes for a good couch day.

 

Btw, there is an official removal tool for Tages. The installer is what lets you remove it, as it normally deploys from a base executable. This is apparently normally deployed in Games for Windows titles.

Weeeee!!! They let us out early so I hit the track, then the grocery store. Cooked myself some stuffed peppers and mashed taters. @_@ I got full...

 

 

I plan on playing some video games this weekend. And some peeps from class wanna get together for a movie and bowling. Surprisingly enough, no invites to bbq... I guess we're all lazy. Ha ha.

 

I just wanna play Mario and Phantasy Star... I might find myself a Sega emulator. I'm really feelin some Road Rash. xD
