Dead Rising 2

I see the XLBA Prequel of Dead Rising 2: Case Zero will be out on 8/31. The full game will release on 9/28, so this extra content will let me know if I will want to jump in on the full game.

 

I think the biggest part of my concern with the sequel being potentially bad, is when I see the Developer experience list. We'll see if this is a shocker of awesome when the day hits. :)

Yeah... uhh.. that dev company doesn't seem to have any experience in that genre... wonder what made capcom go with them for sequel...

 

 

I was assuming the same developer would continue the series.

I get a 'Zombies are all the rage now, let's outsource this sequel! $$$' vibe from the deal, but I would like to be wrong. Hopefully, it's a magical experience, and not like some of the other so-so sequels that have hit recently.

Now I'm scared. I really enjoyed the first DR. It used to be my favorite game till I got World at War. Then it was Nazi Zombies all the time.

J0k called to let me know he is a fan of Case 0. I am still holding out until the full game drops to see what the verdict is. I did download a demo for Case 0 (Prequel - demo-like). You can get the 'Full' Case 0 for $5.

 

I'm not convinced enough on the quality of the Full Game to Day 1 it yet, and FFXIV also has us low on funds, since it comes out around the same time.

I got the $5 demo. It's fun. Betting full game will have a bunch of cool things to do as I level up and such. Should be fun. Interested in the co-op stuff too.

I played the Free version of the demo. I would have considered it if my radar wasn't so massive for the next 30-40 days. I did get a meh feel for the over abundance of Guns and the accompanying auto-aim, as I feel they take away from melee.

 

Since the Case Zero sold at record preportions, get ready because another 360 exclusive side-game (aka monies) is on the way. Dead Rising 2: Case West. The combo of ignore for the PS3 (with this content, and the lacking bonuses in the CE for PS3) and the release of 2 Pre-full game release DLC demos are kinda souring any :wub: I had for getting the full game.

 

Oh well, more monies for new PC :roflmayo:

I got to see this in action and was convinced on Get. Passing on new Ps360 Castlevania, so I have some more :zyo: action. Ps3, as I don't want to rebuff my Live service and locals have PS3 as well. Free Online, oh yeas. :)

 

Woot to trade-ins buddy was borrowing, to take sting off price for regular game. :)
