Pic0o
I used to :) But those pics are outside my mom's house :) I had my b0x here @ work last week, and that was funny. I had to fill out paperwork, and I scared co-workers. Link to comment
tOucan
Jesus dude you would have wonted a fair bit of overclocking for that fan on the back  Link to comment
shim
well that fan is attached to his radiator me thinks.. and the radiator isnt small by any means :P Link to comment
Pic0o
10-4 to the Fan on the radiator, I want a Bigger one now since I'm cooling my CPU, Northbridge and GPU :) Once I make more money then my monthly bills, I'll prolly get one  Link to comment
Pic0o
I need to update my entry, I still have the 6800LE and Asus Board listed. The Asus moved into Carla, and Kat has the 6800LE in her Rig, Soft-modded for full pipelines and extra shader. :blunt: Please, Fear the 4 year Bump. Link to comment
Wolfy
Fear the 6 day bump lol. I remember that Custom Cut rig. Awesome that it still delivers with a few upgrades :D I never did get into water cooling, I promote air still Link to comment
Pic0o
I Lol'd when I realised how long I've had the same case, and still do. Never did do that upgrade, I'll just wait til Kat buys me a Core 2 Duo Rig. :kat: Link to comment
Wolfy
My Rig for the 07 year. Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 Dual Core Processor LGA775 Conroe 2.13GHZ 1066FSB 2MB with a Zalman CNPS9700NT Copper CPU Heatsink 110MM Fan LGA775 AM2 S939 1250-2800RPM 19.5-35DBA Green LED sitting on the top of her. OCZ Gold XTC PC2-6400 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-800 CL5-5-5-12 240PIN OCZ GameXStream 600W ATX12V 24PIN SLI Ready Active PFC ATX Power Supply 120MM Fan Black X1900 GT 575 MHz 1.2 GHz 256-bit (only 36 pipes on this, not the 48 like the XT cousin) - Don't buy this one anyways, unless you have some incredible VPU cooler, card loves to heat up and die. ASUS P5B Deluxe (I still need to cut off that annoying misengineering of a cover on the northbridge) 2x Lite-On dvdrw's (both Sata II's) 320 Seagate Sata II -I Eliminated IDE completely. Rolling with the Onboard Soundmax sound, tho the A3D/EAX is something I might spring for later on. Never had too much luck with Creative products unless you got something you can recommend. All PCI slots empty, Power supply sits in the bottom of this case anyways. 200mm fan on top of case, yes, 200mm. 4 120mm fans, 2 front, 1 back, 1 side, with 120 bracket optional that would case in the HD completely (120's on both sides of HD if i did it) the Zalman in itself is 110mm, the spring load on the processor holding that fan/heatsink and 6 pipes is impressive, nearly needed a power tool. Case itself is a Antec Gamer 9000 series. Only one in town I ever saw. I'm about big things and this case is big. if you rape the 2 front 120mm's , swap in your water cooler, you have yourself at least 8 5.25's of glory (you sack #9 for your HD) since the 3.5 mounting is in the same area. I'll post some pics when i get some decent ones sometime. Including Vista OS - approx 2000 Canadian Dog Bones. - Some super shopper saving could prolly knock that down 200~300. I tried to keep my shopping to ncix/local city stores since duty and shipping kills these days. Link to comment
Pic0o
That Aspire PSU I picked up took it's death bow today. To the archives I go. Link to comment
Pic0o
Since I'm looking to re-h20 this hardware for fun, and noticed this thread has no pictures, I'm adding them to the OP. Poor OCAU DB went down a few years ago too. I don't think the older rigs got ported over. Searching my HDD for 'b0x' was pretty entertaining. Link to comment
nick
Man that was some heavy shit in 03. Link to comment
Pic0o
Thanks to a board after the capgate (2005?) failures, this is booted again and running a SATA2 4 Port PCI card. Driver was tripping, but got better on reinstall inf. Ahh Friday Eve  Prior to this post, I Had some lockups on a hard drive, so I pulled it and to humorous shock, it's a Hitachi Desk(Death)star drive. I'll run an OEM test on it since the current AGP video card is tripping out in XP as well, but I'm thinking hard locks + other HDD staying booted for 10+ hours = Deathstar is going bad since 2004. Photo of drive and pajama pants, because that is how hardware gets served in my pad. Edited August 2, 2013 by Pic0o Link to comment
Pic0o
I'm kind of shocked too, but here is a 2013 rebuild of this hardware. GeForce 2 MX for the video card, so this joint is Red Faction spec'd. :D(Descriptions above each photo.) Time to cooka Processor and NorthBridge chip at a significantly lower average temperature than air cooling. Processor mount thread bolts. The block will be between the last top bolt, with the spring on top. Thumbs screws down from top and the bottom washers are to attach behind and on inner bottom of motherboard.Yes they look like rank needles, hehe CPU bolt stands in place on motherboard. Unfilled case sit test. Prior to fill testing. Filled cooling loop. Only single block for the moment.Water Wetter and Distilled water mix for my coolant. Dye added to leak run. Outside time! Side panel with old custom cut window via plexiglass. Found it! Name plate made by my buddy mad long ago. Now I can go outside for a bit! JUUUUUIIIIICCCCE! Open Sides of the run. Out flow is the top of the pump running to CPU block. Then up to the Radiator and back down to Reservoir. All Booted from HDD install. Vendor OEM Check was OK!
