I have Rebirth on PS5 and did not yet finish it. I want to say I am maybe on Chapter 7. It may just be me but this installment did not hit like the first one. I have tried to replay it but did not get locked in, as I did with the first remake installment. Rumor has it Chapter 03 will release in 2027.

I am still playing this game. Also still running benchmarks. 😉 A new expansion Evercold comes out next year, in January 2027. I am on the Dawntrail Main Story Quest line on the MSQ (Main Scenario Quest) of The High Luminary. My iLVL (Item Level is 660. Checking to see what upgrades I may be able to get with Allagan Tomestone of Poetics. Currently streaming on twitchtv.com/pic0oplus since it has been many months since I had done so. Looks like iLVL 660 is my cap until I hit level 100 and get the new Tomestones. I am Level 98 MNK (Monk) now. 12.4 Million Exp out of 22.9 needed for level 99. iLVL 750 and 780 are the Level 100 gear.

I haven't been playing many games lately but I did platinum Paw Patrol World on PS5 with my kiddo. I also am near the end of story play for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It's been a bit so I figured I should make a forum post. I am waiting for GTA VI but that is looking to be 2026. I did download the GTA V Enhanced version. Upload of old save and download to the new game was useful. I don't play much on my PC as it's upstairs and Wifey stole my desk for work. 😛 I should get around to hooking up my retro console collection in the basement here at the house. I'm typing this on my laptop, that I remote up to my main desktop upstairs. It has been a crazy warm summer so far but today is a little cooler. I'm off to go pickup the wee one from the babysitter.

I've been busy but do still exist. I saw some PHP errors on the wordpress and forums. Changed my running PHP version to 8.1 and they are resolved. I was on an older PHP version so that is sorted.

Forums still alive by loading. Previous thread a few months back is a different move boat, so still in the apartment and likely to fix up our house instead. I finally got my 12th Gen Intel CPU cooling well. There is a big old thread over like the last 2 years, TL;DR is add a mounting plate, then you can clamp the coolers well and have thermals not be terrible and remain under 212 F on full load. Avoid Reboots by having at least a 1000 w power supply. 750 watts will not do at all. This being the case with a 3090 RTX or RTX 4090. That's my recap. Dawntrail expansion for FFXIV (Final Fantasy XIV for the not regular forum folks here) releases here in early July. I got the Collector's Edition as I have regular income then a few months back when pre-orders opened. New graphic engine comes with expansion too. The benchmark looks cool if you want to see some of the engine in action before release. Forgot to mention. I am on the Endwalker content patch 6.x content. I wanted to have another 1000 watt power supply with ATX 3.0 My understanding and take away from that standard, is you get a new PCI-Express power connector that is much smaller than the prior, 8 pin x2 setups. My Evangelon 3090 RTX has the older familiar power connectors, while the Nvidia 4090 RTX has the 3.0 slim connector. Much cleaner a case install. I have a 1200 Watt in my main setup now and I'm going to try the 1000 w PSU in my 11th Gen, to swap out and get the smaller but ATX 2.0 Power Supply into Wifey's 12th Gen PC with DDR4. Saved a bit of money (like 50% RAM cost) using 64 GB of DDR4 versus what 64 GB of DDR5 would have cost, when I did the builds in 2022 around American Summertime aka August. Building is fun but can be chaotic when not able to focus and do the things to properly pimp and tweak your setup. I used to do bunches of clown and devoops stuff but that overwhelmed my free time and lack of needing to perpetually study and learn new stuff. I was wondering where a forum reference to Doom Eternal was. I played it on PS4 then the PS5 version did not import from the PS4 save. But when I played on Xbox, I think it did to PS4 fine.

Now in Beta client for Xbox Series X this weekend. I somehow did not see an existing Final Fantasy XIV topic ( finded it ). That is wild. I have been playing this since 1.0 Released before A Realm Reborn. Not very quickly, mind you. I just cleared Endwalker MSQ (Main Story Quest) Newest Expansion Dawntrail releases in 2024-06. FFVII Rebirth releases next Friday 2024-02-29. Free Demo is up for 2 different areas to try before release. I got 2 hours out of first portion well explored. Second part about 1.5 hours. Shaving half an hour, easy by not continuing side quest unlocked battles yet. Plays well also on Portal. I also just got Pulse Elite headset for PS5 and Portal remote player. PS Link sync after firmware update when plugged into console, smoothed out some lag when using Portal and headset for game audio.
