As I have noted, the electronic state of mostly all services has gone hand and hand with my personal need to keep up on politics, as that is where lots of silly and awful things occur. Well the US Gov't is now in shutdown. On the good side, Montasanto protection act has been dropped almost instantly. Truth on the poison they have been spreading is now being agreed on. Let us hope for more well thought actions.

It's been a busy run since the 1st onward. Gov't shutdown didn't hurt http://www.infowars.com/real-life-iron-man-suit-commissioned-by-us-military/]this Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit[/url]. Parks and private land is being run over by forces of $$$.

Freedom isn't a crime yet, however. Hoping for a smoother month.

CISPA is back for another attempt. If we lived in a rational society, actually run for the people, all the prior shootdowns for SOPA / CISPA / PROTECT IP / H.R. 3261 would have put this to an end and never for revival or renewal

How many times must people and companies join to shoot this down, just because they changed the name or acronym? Obviously no one besides corporate interest groups, want this trash.

SOPA @ Wikipedia. CISPA 3.0 is the current wave of these efforts.

Keeping this topic alive and beyond some AJ quotes, Heartbleed and the OpenSSL flaw are making quite the waves, while showing how many devices are affected. Considering this has been in the wild for 2 years and is the heart of much encryption, this is a serious concern.

Also in IT & Compy News, major players in the IT Market have been proven to be Anti-trust operations, yet avoiding a $9bn lawsuit. Where also they restrict employees from joining other organizations and stifle employee wages. No Mas for the work force there.

Last time I checked, TPP and the other older acronyms had not passed into law yet. However Net Neutrality has taken some beatings and more look to be in the works. Comcast and Time Warner merging is probable to make for some decreased service quality, with higher consumer bills. Also Netflix had paid for the bandwidth tier fees on Comcast. Stay frosty, else you can look forward to paying more for less, in the internet spectrum.

All those Silk Road bitcoins are up for sale by US Marshals. This might be the 1st time drug currency has directly been put up for sale.

You can read about a CIA rendition jet. That is fancy-speak for kidnapping jet. June 5th was the 1 year leak anniversary as well.

In other news, Ebay had been recently hacked and a password change prompt went out. There have been many high-profile exploits this year and it's only at the half way point. Perhaps better design before system launch, will finally become a higher priority?
