Pic0o
Kind of shocked I do not have a thread for Cyberpunk 2077. I saw posts in the what playing thread. Speed to current day, rumor on reddit has mention of new PS5 boxart and possible PS5 release, finally. I played a Corp on PC and will pick another class likely. PC played fine but I started on PS4 version on release. I saw the quality and draw rate, paused for a few and switched to playing on PC. My 1080 Ti did much better than I thought it would. Played the game to main story completion. Steam shows me with 116 Hours but realistically I'd throw 80 of played in there, likely. Link to comment
Pic0o
PS5 Version dropped and is a free upgrade. This plays quite nicely in performance mode on PS5. I put in about 3 hours last night, no issues and the visuals are clean. Playing Streetkid instead of Corpo this run. Granted I'm not sure it makes much difference story wise. Link to comment
Pic0o
I am a responsible adult, so I took a nap and woke up a little bit ago to post and play more Cyberpunk 2077. The 2.0 expansion released this weekend with the expansion of Phantom Liberty releasing over the last 24 or so hours. I rebuilt my skill tree with the 2.0 patch and my main character was level 27. I am 31 now and doing some side quests before I start Phantom Liberty missions. I am playing on PC since it still looks better than PS5 version but that is unfair to not expect my Main PC with a 4090 RTX to not look better than the PS5 version. PS5 version is stable and still worth playing if your PC is not built to God Kill. You can check my build thread but to save you a click, here are my current PC specs I am playing on: Specs for the 12th Gen Intel build ( as of 2023-09-26 ) : Quote System: Micro-Star MS-7D30 CPU: Intel i9-12700KS Motherboard: MSI MPG Z690 FORCE WIFI (MS-7D30) (all builds) Memory: 109 GB free of 128 GB @ 4 GHz GPU: Nvidia 4090 RTX ( 24 GB ) Display: 5120 x 1440 - 32 Bit colors OS: Windows 11 Cross platform saves have been available for some time now and continue to work between PS5 and PC for me. This makes continuing and sharing saves between characters and consoles excellent. More games need this level of save cross platform support as a baseline. Be sure to link your GOG.com for the cross-save support. CD PROJEKT RED knocked it out of the park post-release with this game support. Haters be damned, I played it and still am. The quest and mission updates are so good from 2.0 patch. They used to be really clunky to navigate. I feel similar but not as heavily against the old Cyberware menu, but it's still nicely improved. New skill tree is straight up good. The prior one felt relatively empty for perk points spent with relatively low benefits. I'll add some screencaps from the last day or so playing at 5120 x 1440 resolution on PC. For fun reference, I get about 100 FPS on the Ray Tracing - Ultra setting when running the in-game benchmark utility. Added a bunch of Judy images, graphics config and skill tree pics. Also upload a screen of new Journal and Mission + Quest display. Drinking some Jarritos and playing a bit before I take another nap before work and taking our kid to babysitter. Spoiler for main story if you want to do some quests, your options rely on your voice type still. Details below: Romancing Judy will fail if you picked a "Masculine voice" That still defines your "gender options" in game. There are gender voice change mods but they do not have patch 2.0 support yet. Make a female voice if you want to romance Judy. Link to comment
