Majora's Mask 3DS

Not that my Zelda nerdom is any shock, but I am hyped for a Majora's Mask remake that had been rumored to be a thing for some time. I do still have the N64 cart, also the N64 collector version... but the frame rate is terrible on the GC version.

 

I will scoop this one up and play another clear of Majora's Mask. I always enjoyed the hard-mode Japanese video games.

February 13th is the release day here in the US. The N3DS also releases that day. I am not bothering with a N3DS pre-order as I have not played my 3DS much lately, short of when A Link Between Worlds came out.

This is out and I have been playing a little bit. I am on a 'New' Nintendo 3DS and seem to have found a bug in the Majora's Mask settings.
If you turn off the Circle Pad Pro support, you cannot turn back on the c-stick for your save game. It asks for ZR to be pressed, but the game does not pick up the buttom press. I am guessing the binding of the 'New 3DS' over the Circle Pad Pro ZR button are mapped differently.

Fix for the Circle Pad Pro / C-Stick toggle.
Hold ZR, then select to toggle the Circle Pad Pro. If you try this it should then work to toggle back and forth. If for some reason this does not work, hold one of the Z-buttons while the game loads. That is only a presumption guess though.

I will tweet someone because that is the current-school tech support to a company. Enjoying the game and system otherwise. The bettwer viewing angle for 3D display, by what looks to be use of IR technology works well. I have been playing Major's Mask around 40% 3D on. Similar how I also played Ocarina of Time 3D. The Zelda titles have the heaviest use of 3D that I run it lower than maximum, else the image blends wrong for me.
