Pic0o
I made a Linkshell for us to dick around in, named AptOne. For those who don't know, that's the crew in Buffalo that got us into the game in the first place. Some of them might be jumping in for some beats, we shall see. Since everyone is catching up on things while gone, this is a social LS with leveling and quest help being the main focus. I will also be doing some mad trials, as to upgrade my weapon to awesome, without needing millions of gil. :yar: Old school or new school players interest in playing? Make a forum account to request access, or hit me up in-game. Fun fact about when we started the game. NoMeV
y0... this looks pretty cool by the screens and the google hit on "Rise of the Zilart" is this pc or xbox? MoMo has been inquiring if we were gonna hit up a game (mmorpg) similar to what we did in Conquer Online where we all joined and and pretty much took over the server! LoL! Not saying this would be the case here.. but as i mentioned.. it looks pretty cool... Link to comment
Pic0o
It's actually on PS2 (old school version with HDD), Xbox 360 and PC. Kat plays on the 360, and I rock my box right next to her. I can check, as I think I'm able to give guest invites for the game? Let me give it a check. Since all the balance changes in respect to enemies, leveling Solo or in a Duo setup is pretty feasible and fun. Waking up and peeping info for you, as I'd surely help you guys get a feel for things, if down. :) Ahh, the info on the different passes: Vana'diel Adventurer Recruitment Program I also have a free 30 day code, from the PC version I got last year. I have some other dudes who might be down, otherwise it's all yours. :) Just DL the Core install CD. Ether the Vana'Diel Collection, or Abyssea edition will be fairly recent. ;) Download the Game here @ Fileplanet link from the Guest Pass / Content ID that will work from any recent Console or PC version. :) Link to comment
NoMeV
Damn Nice y0... let me go over it here with MoMo... however.. especially if we go pc version.. the first thing i'd have to get goin is this box of mine... :boo: Link to comment
Pic0o
Word man. Be cautious, it's a beast ass game. :) My buddy was linking his old info to a SE User account this morning. I have mad jobs that need a few levels as Subjobs, so I'll be playing mad classes. I think the SJ system is one of the best character dynamics in this game. Want to buff, ok. Feel like smashing shit? Change jobs. :) Link to comment
Pic0o
I got my character back up while visiting. Took my WAR from 42 to 45 since Monday. NPC Fun XP Duo smash. :roar: Level 95 Limit Break (Active): http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Dormant_Powers_Dislodged Level 99 Cap Limit Break: (Part 1) http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Prelude_to_Puissance (Part 2 - BCNM) http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Beyond_Infinity Also, there were quite a few changes this March. Extra button controls and some cooldown timer changes from 15 minutes to 5 minutes are of note. You can also check the mega-thread for a full list of updates for the last 10 years. Dec 2011 Update for Thief: Melee weapon skills will now have a chance of enhancing Treasure Hunter effectiveness. Weapon skills used alone will grant the enhancement at the same rate as standard melee attacks. Weapon skills combined with Sneak Attack or Trick Attack will grant the enhancement at the same rate as melee attacks made with these abilities active. For multi-part weapon skills, the bonus calculation will only be performed for the first hit. *Weapon skill Treasure Hunter bonuses will not be accompanied by visual effects or log window messages. WAR @ 46. Gonna rock Dominion Ops at Altepa for my Body piece Empyrean Set. Don't forget about Cavernous Maw warp from Port Jeuno. Works for any Maws you have accessed. I have all 9, just need the warps in the Heroes ones. Edited April 25, 2012 by Pic0o Link to comment
Pic0o
Currently 99 MNK! Got mad merits and Merit WS yesterday. Prolly gonna XP sub tonight and mess with Sandy missions. I have so many 37 Subjobs that need love too. I'm not hating on an Abyssea key party to quickly level them either. Warrior is close to skillcaps @ 46 anyways :) My character was beast @ 95, and 99 is just broken with all the DMG I do. Tended to keep dual +Acc rings on when fighting Abyssea Frogs though. FYI, here is a 6 month road map for FFXI. Play as a Monster just sounds crazy. Edited May 4, 2012 by Pic0o Link to comment
Pic0o
Moved the forums around a bit on the main layout. Wanted to advise the awesome of a Keyfob for FFXI. While logging in is a bish, once you are on or DC, re-logging by Keyfob is not required. There is no free app option, but for the $9.99(?) it also gives you a /satchel. The Mog Satchel will give you double your current inventory. For each Gobbie Bag / Inventory slot on person, you get a separate bag equal to your quested slots. It's stupid handy and applies to any other characters on said account. Makes muling less often and less of a pain in the face! Oh yeah, I think they just call it a Token. :blunt: Link to comment

Pic0o
Our local buddy is also playing and at last check was level 16. He had a character back in the early days but doesn't have his old Content ID infos. Looking to be on this weekend, might even roll some Dominion Ops for my Monk body. We'll see how that goes. :) Link to comment
Pic0o
Man. I got about 120 Merit points in one group and capped all my Monk merits. Well into HP/MP and STR, VIT Merit Mods. Played last night and got my White Mage sub from 46 to 49, and Puppetmaster from 18 to 35. Level Sync Alliance parties are AWESOME! If you are lower level and get an invite to grind Pages @ Books, do so. Reraise overall helpful, as we were doing Skeletons @ Gusgen Mines. Your buffs / support shall vary. :bunny: Thursday night: I re-tried the Sandy 9-2 Mission fight. Considering I have massive more trait mods via Merits, better gear and /Dancer, I stomped this fight. For safety I did Opo-Opo Necklace + Sleep Pot / Milk once in the zone. I took my time on the weaker mobs of wave 1 to get TP back, then rocked the 2nd fight out without having my NPC assist get hate once. Edited September 14, 2012 by Pic0o Rank 10 Sandy now too. Pic0o
So hard! Dynamics of the game and ghetto exploration beat the hell out of anything else I've seen in the MMO space. 10 years wrecks me too. :) Link to comment
