Pic0o Posted October 20, 2005 Report Share Posted October 20, 2005 Yo, Another Day another Dedicated Server :P I have a 6 Player Lan Server up currently, that anyone should be able to connect to. the server name is FuntimeBliss☼com Lan It's on the Default port of 28004, and already had someone Hop in while I was trying to make this Post. My Pc is being Shady, so I get to work out Lock Issues @ Stock. For anyone looking to Host a Dedicated Server, Use the Quake 4 Menu to build your Configuration, Exit and save your Changes. Once you have Exited, Run the Quake4Ded.exe App Located in the Quake4 Folder to load your game. I had some shady issues trying to spawn a server from the Console, as it was not loading maps correctly, and using the GUI to configure is how I got around it ;) Enjoy the Lan Server, If you want to Admin it, have any suggestions, or know good Quake 4 Dedicated Server Guides, Post away :bunny: Link to comment
