PC Wii Remote

Here is my dump of experience with using a Wii Remote to control your PC.

I played with GlovePIE and such as well. I took some time to play with the Nyko Wireless Sensor Bar for infrared Coords, without needing the entire Wii, and it was a success.

Here is another App for Remote Control. It is more simplistic, and does not have the options of GlovePIE by any means.

I was successful with a Kensington 33348 Bluetooth Adapter I got @ Circuit City. I did encounter the brick wall on 'Skip Paring'. I was able to avoid this by following these steps, and using the Setup Wizard instead. (alt link as of edit here=

Edit to note the nuance glitch with Widcomm Bluetooth stack. Using the Connect option will not let you skip paring, but using the side-menu option as shown on that page (Add) will do so.

Once you have the working drivers going, you want to use whatever app you are working with, to query the remote while it's sync'ing, before it disconnects.

Observations so far for the Nyko Magic Wand 'Wiimotes:

They do not seem to sync well to PC, as opposed to the Nintendo remotes. I'm not certain if this is the case, but so far it does seem to be so.
