Playing HD Content via your GPU

If you have seen issues playing some HD content on some of your Older PCs in the house, I'm right there with you. Guru3D has a guide on setting up 'Media Player Classic Home Cinema (GPU accelerated)'.

 

While the listed specs are pretty high for the Video Card, I wonder how a lowly 5xx series Nvidia card will fare. I also am looking to just play the content nicely on Tv-Out, and no enhance the source video. I'll throw this on my To-Do once I hook the TV rig back up.
