PlanetDoom has some Info about the Ram Tweak for Doom3. Looks Damn Good, and as the Base poster has, I have 512MB ram, and Pretty close to the Same System :P

 

In your DOOM 3 directory, find "DoomConfig.cfg" (x:\Program Files\Doom 3\base). Open DoomConfig.cfg in Notepad.

 

Find the line:

 

seta image_cacheMegs "32"

 

I changed 20 to 96, and So far, the Timedemo is similar, but Mp looks a Little smoother.
