JeT Posted October 19, 2008 Report Share Posted October 19, 2008 I have a lot of random blocks of spare time now-a-days. So I decided I'd pick this game back up. A friend of mine started to play it, so he sorta got my interest up again. And since the halloween event just started-- I decided it the perfect time. Also-- there is a 10 day trial-- even for existing players. And everything is digital download now-- so I can download the entire game client + the burning crusade patch and be all up to date. Lots of downloading, though. Anyways, if I do decide I want to keep going after the 10 days, I can then buy the $29.99 expansion and leave it already installed, etc., and then pay the normal monthly rate. I haven't tried burning crusade at ALL yet-- so I think I have some fun in store for myself. I think I'll continue my 45ish warrior that I played on Venture Co server. I think I could dig it. JeT Posted October 21, 2008 Author Report Share Posted October 21, 2008 Yeah that's the thing-- I never had a solid interest in FFXI-- and I think we're just vice versa in that regard. I played 7 hrs straight and got to level 14 and a half. haha. Now I need to catch up on maaad workies. Been on phone since 8am-- doing freelance php between talking to people, and uploading files to live servers _while_ talking to ppl. haha. Oh dear. Link to comment

They did a good job this year on events... lots of stuff to do.. lot of event quests and items. I have a broom mount that goes walking speed (only lvl 16) but it's cool they made a mount item for low lvls to play with. There are faster broom stick items for higher players. You mount it and its a fucking floating broomstick. And I have a jack-o-lantern head spell item thing. Combine and hilarity ensues. PS: Getting tired of halloween being underlined red-- but I don't want to disrespect halloween and add an un-capitalized h version to the dictionary.. and don't really feel like holding shift every time. :o :P Link to comment

X_X Waitin for the Aion beta to open again (currently closed to fix bugs from the last one) Problem was, my younger bro took my undead mage from 14 to 59 so when I logged in I didn't know wtf to do. I decided I wanted to explore other options anyway, so I made a draenei priest and it's friggin fun as hell! My chicks are both sexy in their own rights. :D Mage = Waysted, 59, on Ysera Priest = Skuldeira, 4 (tee hee), on Shadowsong =) WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I'll probably get the cataclysm expansion as well, those wolf people look kinda neat, but I really wanna see what the starting area and quests for goblins will be like. Maybe I can find a server where the name Pea isn't taken! Lmao. That'd be a good goblin name. =p Link to comment
